The Best Travel/Beer Podcasts
There’s nothing better to inspire wanderlust or a thirst for beer (or both) than a podcast. I listen on long bike rides or while mowing my lawn. Both times I probably wish I was somewhere else.
Here are my favorite travel/beer centric podcasts:
Extra Pack of Peanuts
Primarily a travel podcast, Travis Sherry (and his wife Heather) interview other travelers and talk about their travels. Their enthusiasm for traveling will have you booking a flight immediately. They both love breweries and gelato and talk about both frequently. I’m not sure anything else needs to be said.
Pubcast Worldwide
Chris Luecke does live interviews with people in the beer or travel industry over a couple of beers in a brewery. The interview covers travel and beer and anything else they find interesting. It’s pretty much the podcast I wish I hosted.
The World Wanderers Podcast
Hosts Ryan and Amanda talk about life on the road and their trips in an honest and relatable way. Will definitely encourage wanderlust and they’re not scared to throw a beer or two down either along the way.
What the Pho Podcast
Nick and Amy are two Brits budget traveling across the world nonstop. The podcasts range from talking about traveling in general to giving general travel destination tips. It’s really light hearted and fun and then all of a sudden the dig deep into the history or politics of a country. And it works.
The Mad Fientist
This one’s a little bit different as it’s not a travel or beer podcast. It’s a personal finance blog about saving money and retiring early. But it should make sense. Drinking craft beer and traveling is expensive, but if you save as much as money as you can, you can live a life full of travel and drinking beer. And host Brandon is the antithesis of every other personal finance expert. He’s real, genuine, and vulnerable. Plus he likes beer and travel. So, in that respect, it’s a travel and beer podcast.
Honorable Mentions
I was only going to pick 5, but then I felt guilty leaving a few out that I listen to all the time as well. And who does it hurt too add more?
